Kipot
Boys are required to supply their own Kipa or Yarmulke each day.
Boys MUST BE WEARING a Kipa upon entering the building and must wear one throughout the day.
Uniforms
Elementary school students (K-5) are required to wear a school uniform Monday through Thurday, and on Friday, students wear their own Shabbat clothing. The purpose of the dress code is to present an attractive appearance, in addition to promoting school pride and respect.
Boys: Martin J. Gottlieb Day School polo shirt, white, cobalt blue, navy blue or hunter green. Shirts must be tucked in. Solid khaki or navy blue shorts or slacks. No denim, no sport uniform shorts or sweatpants are acceptable. School sweater or school sweatshirt (pullover, zip-up, or hooded) is also acceptable attire. Backless shoes or sandals are strictly prohibited.
Girls: Martin J. Gottlieb polo shirt, white cobalt blue, navy blue, or hunter green. Shirts must be tucked in. Solid khaki or navy blue skorts, skirts, jumpers, slacks or shorts. No denim, no sport uniform shorts or sweatpants are acceptable. School sweater or school sweatshirt (pullover, zip-up, or hooded) is also acceptable attire.
