  A lot of the blogs have fun activities on the side of the page that brighten it up, and look more attractive to the readers.

  I think we should have more pictures, videos, cartoons, etc. We should also try using VoiceThread. We could pick a book we have read and talk about it and post our critiques on the page called ‘Critics Corner’. Maybe, everyday, we could post what we learn in class and on our individual pages we could post our essays and other work. We should also have more quizzes and fun games, so when people visit our blog they will have fun, too. I also think it would be fun to have music.

  One aspect that would make our blog better would be to add videos and pictures to make it more interesting and fun, like many of the other classrooms’ blogs I saw. Also, having a separate mini-blog for each student like “Huzzah!” would come in handy and be useful. Lastly, the “Watch Out” blog had student-made videos which were based on one topic and were very entertaining, as well as clever.

  Blog Etiquette:
  It is important to collaborate and to stay on task when posting to the blog.
  Also, inappropriate words or insulting other students on the blog should not be allowed.
  The most important thing, is to do our best and have fun!

  I think that we should have more color to “hook” the viewers in so that they enjoy our blog. Games, music and pictures are all examples of how to make our blog look better.

  I think we should try a daily post, like a journal . We also should talk about events in our school and in our community. Also, we should post more pictures, have a joke of the day, week, or month and, for sure, post videos!!! We should not really write or talk about our personal lives on our school blog – it is not safe, but we can talk about school and our community and other things.

  I liked that some other blogs had videos, songs, etc. I think it would also make it more interesting if we put in some information about what happens each week. For example: (Sorry, technical difficulties…)
  This week is Spirit Week! Next week is Purim! There is a lot happening to write about.

  I think it would be cool to add the projects that we are doing in class, and post pictures of us doing them. Also, we could promote more projects as a class. We should have some etiquette, like always checking our grammar, and even checking other blogs for grammar, too. That might be a fun idea.

  I think we should have fun videos and pictures with Mirrors & Windows stories. Plus, I think it would be fun to add grammar tips that we create ourselves.

  I think that to have proper etiquette, we should write all of our comments and blog posts with proper grammar. We need to make sure our comments aren’t random and that our posts are clear in purpose. Some of the blogs that I looked at did not make sense. Our blog should also be visually appealing because, otherwise, viewers will lose interest.

  I think we should make our blog more enjoyable for people of all ages. We should have sections with learning games or interactive games that kids would enjoy, and we should also have posts and articles about things adults would find interesting. We should also make our blog more colorful and pretty.
  I think that we SHOULD post stuff we are learning – that we think other people should learn about also – and things we find interesting. I think we SHOULDN’T post silly, immature things that are irrelevant and unnecessary.

  I think we should be much more creative. I’ve looked at other blogs and they have videos, recordings, and all kinds of other things! We should use proper grammar. We will use full sentences, and be polite. Only use constructive criticism.

  In regard to blog etiquette, I think the comments should be appropriate, short, to the point, and proofed prior to publishing. Also, people should think before they comment.

  To make our blog more interesting, it should be very bright and colorful, with pictures of what we are doing. We should post games, quizzes, and polls so viewers will be entertained.

  Well, a lot of these blogs have videos and pictures and a few have games and stuff! They show what is being learned, but it was expressed in a fun way! We need to have more fun with our blog. We shouldn’t just show our work – we should make a video and show our technology skills. I like the way we changed the color on Shaina’s poem to make it creative and less boring!

  I feel that most of the sites did not have too much to say about blog commenting etiquette. I think that we should do some research on the proper etiquette for blog commenting and write a memo about it in iPhone-like style.

  As you can see, many of blogs are very interactive with pictures, interviews, and videos. In our blog we could add background music, and we could also make a rap video about English class.

  The blogs I saw make the classrooms seem like fun and enriching environments. I would like to observe most of them. I like the way the blogs used videos, pictures, and voice. We should add some to our blog to make it more fun to navigate through.

  Mendel thinks that all blog comments should be short and to the point. What if someone has a lot to say, Mendel? I do not think that there is any problem writing a long comment. Hey, it is also more interesting! Although, I do agree that they should be grammatically correct and on topic.

  When I said that blogs should be short and to the point I put those words on the same line for a reason. Those two statements go together. Blog comments should not be long about random stuff. I put both words on that line to emphasis that point.

  I agree with you. The comments we have are long because we have a lot to say. I do not think that any of the comments have random stuff in them. I also agree with @Mendel, though, because if they are going to be long comments they need to make sense and have to do with the post. The readers do not want to get bored reading them.

  Thank you, I think that Voice Threads would be a great thing to do! I also agree with what you said about using proper grammar. It is very important that our comments have good grammar. They need to look professional.
