I graduated from The Ohio State University in … with a Bachelor of Science in Education degree, and have been teaching for 30+ years.  I am a huge fan of college football – GO BUCKEYES! – and tend to exhibit withdrawal symptoms when football season is over.

My favorite spare time activity (WHAT SPARE TIME?!) is curling up in my ‘reading chair’ with a good book. And I love puzzles – crossword, sudoku, jigsaw. Check out one of my favorite sites www.jigzone.com to try your hand at some challenging (or not so challenging) jigsaw puzzles. But be aware, puzzles can be addictive…

I have been known to have a very ‘punny’ sense of humor, and can often be found chuckling over comics and cartoons. My favorite comic strip is “Pearls Before Swine”, which offers a satirical and totally irreverent view of life. No one can out-pun Stephan Pastis, though, many have tried – myself included.

Some things I look forward to: Sunday morning brunch & crossword puzzle with Mr. Kuhr, visits with our 3 boys, conquering facebook, and learning from my kids at MJGDS.
