Super Sunday – February 5th – Come Join the MJGDS Dream Team!

Dear Friends,

Thanks to our collective efforts, MJGDS won $500 at last year’s Super Sunday!  Our MJGDS Dream Team had a great time together while volunteering to raise precious funds for our amazing Jacksonville Jewish community as well as the worthwile Israeli and overseas causes Federation generously supports.  Please join us again this year as well as encourage friends/family to come along to.  More information on Super Sunday is listed below.  We are so appreciative of your wonderful help!  By the way, Middle and High School students are more than welcome to join in the fun.

Warmest wishes, Andrea (aka MJGDS Dream Team Captain)

It’s that time of year again.  Time to work out your dialing fingers, charge up your cell phone and rally up the volunteer troops.  It’s almost Super Sunday 2012, and the challenge is on… will your agency win?  Without our Agency Volunteer teams, we would not be able to continue to raise funds for our local Jewish community and Jewish life around the world.  For the third year in a row, the top two agencies with the highest volunteer turn out will be granted a first place prize of $500 and a second place prize of $250.  This year, for your convenience, we have developed a registration link.  At this page, volunteers can sign up for our school’s team.  Calls will be made from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM Sunday, February 5, 2012, at the JCA at 8505 San Jose Blvd.  Please sign up here:  http://jewishjacksonville.org/supersunday.aspx

What is Smart Tuition that was found in the re-enrollment packet?

All re-enrollment packets that were mailed out the first week in January included a form to enroll in Smart Tuition.  This year, Smart Tuition will manage the tuition payment program for our school.

What does Smart Do?  Smart Tuition receives, processes and deposits your payments into the school’s bank account.  They have a secure website and 24/7 parent help center for families who have questions about their tuition payment plans.

Will they share my information with other companies?  NO.  Your privacy is important to Smart.  They do not disclose any personal information to anyone, except as required by law.  Smart Tuition has adopted numerous procedures to protect the confidentiality of school and family information.  They adhere to the Payment Card Industries Standard for storing family information.

Why would I provide them with my bank account number or credit card information?  Many parents who are pressed for time prefer their error-proof system of automatic deductions.  Smart Tuition informs you of the amount that they will deduct from your account through an email notification 10 days prior to your due date.  This is the fastest, safest, and most convenient payment option.

Please complete the Smart Tuition enrollment form, sign it and return it with your enrollment contract.  Be sure to provide your email address as Smart Tuition regularly communicates important information about your account by email.  Once your account is set up you will be provided a Username and Password.  You can access your tuition account at www.parents.smarttuition.com where you will be able to make payments, view balances due, and find answers to commonly asked questions.  The parent help center is available to assist you with any questions you may have regarding your Smart Tuition account, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at (888) 868-8828.

*Smart Tuition will also handle and process all tuition assistance applications.  Please visit tuition assistance on our website to apply online.

50th Anniversary Celebration Meeting

Please join us on Tuesday, January 24th from 7-8.30pm for our first meeting of the year.

The meeting will be held at the home of Andrea & Steven Mail, 2737 Beauclerc Road. Refreshments will be served.
