Last night at 6:00 PM at the Times-Union Center for the Performing Arts Moran Theatre, Edith Horovitz, MJGDS Mitzvah Project Coordinator and Middle School Vice Principal, was invited to the stage to receive the “HandsOn Schools Award” for service in the community. Congratulations to Shana Gutterman and her students on a wonderful showing at the 44th Annual Mandarin Arts Festival this past weekend. The Martin J. Gottlieb Day School received a 3rd place overall ribbon, while Izabella D. received a 2nd place ribbon in the Lower School category. Julia K. received 3rd Place in the Middle School category on one of her pieces and an honorable mention on another. We are very proud of our student artists!

After allowing enough time for invites to be received, we will follow up with emails and calls. We will call to help collect tribute wording from people that have purchased tributes and remind people to send in their RSVPs online or in snail mail. Our next session is:
April 11 5-8pm in the Administrative Kitchen
We will have a few Kosher for Passover noshes – Hope to see you then for fun and productive evenings!

Please join us for our last volunteers meeting - Tuesday, April 17th 7-8.30pm. We will be finalizing plans and designating roles for the May 4-6 anniversary weekend. Kim Glasgal & Peter Levy are graciously hosting us in their beautiful home. (off Scott Mill Road.)
